Dog Bowls

One essential item that you will need of course is dog bowls for food and water. The best food bowls are stainless steel or ceramic, heavy enough so that your Greyhound cannot push it around and it is better if they have a wide base to prevent tipping over. One bowl for food and the other one for water (3 quart bowls work well).

Some Greyhounds, particularly older ones, prefer to eat while lying down. Also having their dog bowls set on a small table can be appreciated so that they do not have to bend down so far to reach their food. Dog bowl stands can be purchased that holds the bowls higher off the ground, these can be found in a variety of styles that look quite attractive.
